Blackmagic Design has updated its Android version of Blackmagic Camera. It adds support for more Android phones, including Xiaomi 13 and 14, OnePlus 11 and 12, Samsung Galaxy S21 and S22, Google Pixel 6, 6 Pro and 6a.
It was already compatible with Samsung Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, S23 Ultra or S24, S24 Plus, S24 Ultra and Google Pixel 7, 7a, 7 Pro, 8 and 8 Pro phones.
Blackmagic Camera for Android 1.1 also adds support for HDMI monitoring so you can see your recording on a larger screen or even multiple displays.
The update enables pull focus controls so you can change focus during a continuous shot. This allows you to gradually pull focus between 3 preset focus points in the foreground or background.
You also have the ability to dim the screen while recording, apply noise reduction or sharpening to the recorded image and use 3D LUTS while recording and monitoring.
There’s also support for syncing media directly to a Blackmagic Cloud Organisations account, which allows you to select between syncing media to your personal account or your company’s account when logging on.
Blackmagic Camera for Android 1.1 is now available for free from Google Play.
