Reolink has been around since 2009, but it wasn’t until 2017 when engineers produced the world’s first 1080p battery-powered standalone camera that things really took off. Since that year, Reolink has sold more than 17 million devices worldwide.
At IFA this year, Reolink revealed two innovations that will make their mark from next year and beyond. The company unveiled next-gen AI security system ReoNeura and the world’s first 4K 360-degree floodlight camera. This is achievable when a tech company knows how hardware and software work in a security environment.
We’ve already seen an example of this when, early this year, Reolink gave consumers a valuable choice. The Elite Floodlight WiFi was the world’s first floodlight camera to feature local AI Video Search. Unlike other cloud systems, Reolink’s AI Video Search runs entirely on the device, with no subscription required. This means you’ll have private access to your video feed at home or in the office.
ReoNeura – AI Security

Building on its successful July debut of AI Video Search, Reolink is expanding ReoNeura’s capabilities at IFA 2025 with two significant advancements:
- Smart Detection: Includes Person & Object Detection, which identifies people, animals, bikes, vehicles, and parcels. Custom zones and schedules help reduce false alerts. And the new Smart Event Detection (Beta), also intelligently tracks deliveries and detects the appearance or disappearance of objects, ensuring users only receive alerts that truly matter.
- Video Captioning: Intuitive video captioning automatically converts footage into clear, natural-language summaries, allowing users to grasp what happened at a glance without watching the entire clip—helping them understand what’s happening without looking back at the footage.

ReoNeura extends its intelligent capabilities to small and medium businesses with Customer Flow Analysis, helping owners track the number of visitors entering and exiting their stores, generate a 24-hour heat map highlighting the busiest zones, and receive real-time alerts about crowded areas. Helping business owners achieve clearer insights and more efficient operations.
TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi

TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi won an IFA Innovation Awards Honoree acknowledgement and 19 “Best of IFA 2025” awards from other leading tech media outlets. A 2-in-1 dual-lens design gives 360-degree coverage of any backyard or driveway. The dual-lens system autonomously switches between focal lengths to track moving subjects seamlessly. This ensures users can capture crystal-clear detail both near and far, eliminating the blurry focus lag typical of conventional single-lens cameras. Both the expansive wide-angle view powered by the 4K lens and the close-up detail view enabled by the 6x hybrid lens are displayed simultaneously on one screen in the Reolink App.
TrackFlex has dimmable LEDs which can pump out 3,000 lumens of bright, variable temperature light. You can choose between a warm 3,000 Kelvin or 6,000 for close to daylight. Being able to adjust the light output is critical for a floodlight camera system. Too much power could end up in a messy conflict with your neighbours. And you don’t want that. There’s also an 110-decibel automatic siren to deter potential intruders.

Local AI Video Search through the power of ReoNeura gives fast, on-device retrieval of incidents. Text descriptions like “man in a blue shirt” save homeowners from time-consuming manual searches. The system can automatically identify people, vehicles, animals, and even packages, directly exporting the desired videos. All processing is done locally on the device, ensuring privacy and avoiding any extra costs.
A really cool feature is its 270-degree Out-of-View Detection. Thanks to the built-in array of three passive infrared (PIR) sensors, the camera can continuously detect motion at distances ranging from 2 to 10 metres within the ultra-wide 270-degree zone, ensuring hidden activities are promptly captured for enhanced security. When mounted at the ideal height of 2 to 3 metres, it provides broad coverage, offering reliable and precise security across large areas.
So as we head into 2026, the announcements at IFA put Reolink in a strong position with consumers, especially with the choice of on-device privacy.
