Razer has officially launched the DeathAdder V4 Pro, the latest iteration of its renowned gaming mouse, promising significant advancements in performance and user experience. This new model builds upon the DeathAdder’s legacy of ergonomic design and esports excellence, incorporating next-generation wireless and sensor technology developed in collaboration with top-tier esports professionals.

The DeathAdder V4 Pro introduces several groundbreaking features designed to give gamers a competitive edge. The Razer HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 offers an ultra-stable connection, over 63% greater power efficiency, and 37% lower latency compared to its predecessor. A redesigned dongle further optimises performance, allowing for lightning-fast responsiveness at up to 8000 Hz in both wired and wireless modes. Gamers can expect up to 150 hours of high-performance gameplay at 1000 Hz.
Debuting in the DeathAdder V4 Pro, the Razer Optical Scroll Wheel provides enhanced precision and durability, boasting triple the lifespan of traditional mechanical scroll wheels and consistent, tactile control during intense gameplay. The Razer Optical Mouse Switches Gen-4 offer a crisp, improved click feel and are rated for an industry-leading 100 million clicks, ensuring unmatched longevity and reliability. At the core of the mouse, the Razer Focus Pro 45K Optical Sensor Gen-2 delivers flawless tracking across various surfaces, boasting a maximum DPI of 45,000, 900 IPS, and 85 G (yes, they’ve tested it!), with 99.8% resolution accuracy. Advanced features such as Dynamic Sensitivity, Mouse Rotation, and Sensitivity Matcher further enhance in-game precision.
Ultra-Lightweight Ergonomics for Enhanced Comfort and Control
Weighing in at just 56 grams (black) and 57 grams (white), the DeathAdder V4 Pro sets a new standard for ultra-lightweight gaming mice. Its iconic ergonomic shape has been refined for improved performance and comfort. Larger PTFE feet contribute to smoother gliding, while split side buttons are designed to prevent accidental clicks during intense gaming sessions. Designed with Esports Professionals in Mind
The development of the DeathAdder V4 Pro involved direct input from professional players, including Counter-Strike legend and Team Razer’s newest member, Nikola “Niko” Kovač. Niko collaborated closely with Razer to fine-tune aspects such as weight distribution, button feel, and overall handling. According to Niko, the DeathAdder V4 Pro offers the precise control required in competitive matches, and he utilised early prototypes in official tournaments, providing live feedback throughout the development process.
Jeffrey Chau, Global Esports Director at Razer, emphasised that the DeathAdder V4 Pro is the result of years of collaboration with top players, representing a complete redefinition of high-performance ergonomic mice.
