ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced a significant leap forward in home networking with the launch of the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI, proudly introducing the world’s first AI router. This device is engineered to meet the massive bandwidth and processing demands of modern digital life, where serious gaming, high-fidelity streaming, and growing smart home ecosystems require more intelligence, automation, and reliability than ever before.
POWERING THE FUTURE WITH AI
What sets the GT-BE19000AI apart is its built-in neural processing unit (NPU)—a dedicated AI core. This revolutionary addition, complemented by a quad-core CPU, 4GB of DDR4 memory, and 32GB of onboard storage, gives the router compute resources dedicated specifically to advanced workloads. Unlike conventional routers that rely solely on the main CPU for everything, this integrated system allows for robust, stable performance across all features.
A SMART HOME HUB
The GT-BE19000AI is not just about routing; it’s a powerful edge computing device. It is the first router capable of running containerised applications natively thanks to its integrated Docker Engine support. With 32GB of storage, advanced users can deploy custom automation, AI services, and IoT management directly on the router, consolidating devices and streamlining their smart home. This means users can run home assistants, deploy AI-powered video recognition with tools like Frigate, or use AdGuard as a network-wide DNS filter to enhance security and block ads, all without needing a separate PC or server. This capability offers unmatched flexibility and security for creators, gamers, and smart home enthusiasts alike.
AI GAME BOOST
Building on the legacy of ROG’s triple-level game acceleration, the GT-BE19000AI elevates performance with AI Game Boost. This feature integrates device detection, adaptive Quality of Experience (QoE), and GTNet routing, all enhanced by new AI algorithms for real-time optimisation. The AI automatically analyses application behavior to make prioritisation more accurate and immediate, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. During internal testing, this AI intervention resulted in a reduction of latency by up to 34%, ensuring significantly smoother online gaming, streaming, and hosting experiences.
CONNECTIVITY WITH SPEED
For raw throughput, the router is equipped with Tri-band WiFi 7, featuring 320MHz channels and 4096-QAM modulation to deliver combined wireless speeds of up to 19 Gbps. The advanced wired connectivity ensures no bottlenecks, offering dual 10G Ethernet ports and four 2.5G Ethernet ports, totaling 31 Gbps of wired capacity, along with 20Gbps link aggregation support for high-demand scenarios.

Beyond sheer speed, the router enhances stability with Wi-Fi Insight, an ASUS-exclusive feature that continuously scans for both WiFi and non-WiFi interference across all channels, providing clear, visual reports on network health. This full-spectrum analysis and automated channel switching ensure stable connections even in the most congested environments.
Finally, the router introduces Guest Network Pro, allowing users to create up to five separate SSIDs for gaming, IoT, VPN, and guests, each with distinct access permissions, bandwidth control, and content filtering, significantly improving security and management. This is coupled with AiProtection, which provides enterprise-level security, monitoring the network constantly and featuring built-in ad and tracker blocking for total peace of mind.
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
The Rapture GT-BE19000AI will be available from Q1 2026, and pricing is yet to be confirmed.
