Samsung has come out swinging at CES with a gigantic 130-inch Micro RGB TV. The R95H is the world’s first in this size using Micro RGB technology. Micro RGB is Samsung’s name for RGB LED backlighting. It’s not Micro LED, which is a completely different technology.
This R95H uses extremely small RGB LEDs instead of a blue backlight that’s converted to white light. These RGB LEDs lead to richer, brighter colours, apparently delivering 100% of the BT.2020 wide colour gamut.
“Big screens are no longer the exception; they’re the expectation,” said Simon Howe, Director – AV, Samsung Australia.
“Responding to this demand, Samsung is introducing its largest Micro RGB TV with a timeless design that transforms the best picture quality into an artistic centerpiece to elevate home décor. Micro RGB is ideal for bringing friends and family together to share in moments that matter via life-like realism through unmatched colour accuracy, Glare-Free display, and added brightness, ideal for Australian living spaces.”

The 130-inch Micro RGB model features Samsung’s most advanced Micro RGB innovations to date. Powered by Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, Micro RGB Colour Booster Pro, and Micro RGB HDR Pro, it leverages AI to enhance dull tones and refine contrast.
The display elevates picture performance with Micro RGB Precision Colour 100, Certified by the Verband der Elektrotechnik (VDE) for precise Micro RGB colour reproduction.
The 130-inch model also includes Samsung’s proprietary Glare Free technology, which helps to minimise reflections, further preserving clear colour and contrast across a variety of lighting conditions for the best viewing experience.
The product supports HDR10+ ADVANCED and Eclipsa Audio to provide an enhanced picture and sound quality, as well as Samsung’s enhanced Vision AI Companion, enabling access to AI features and apps such as AI Football Mode Pro, AI Sound Controller Pro, Generative Wallpaper and Microsoft Copilot.
