eufy, a global leader in home security and smart appliances by Anker Innovations, has unveiled its new PoE NVR Security systems featuring the ProSecure System. This marks the brand’s first NVR-PoE security solution and is powered by integrated large AI model technology known as the “Local AI Agent”. The systems use advanced AI capabilities to create an instant response to movement and activity on a user’s property, helping to deter potential threats. The launch includes five new systems with a combination of camera form factors, the hero of which is a triple-lens camera with pan, tilt, and zoom (PTZ). Systems are also available with bullet or turret cameras.

The new eufy camera, and what is seen on the app

The new S4 Max System and S4 System feature eufy’s new PTZ cameras, which combine a 4K fixed bullet camera with a 2K dual-lens PTZ camera to deliver both wide-angle coverage and close-up detail in a single device. The bullet camera provides a 122∘degree field of view, while the PTZ camera offers 360∘ detailed tracking. When the bullet camera detects a target, the PTZ camera automatically locks on, tracks, and follows the subject. The cameras feature Intelligent Auto-Framing, which automatically zooms in on individuals up to 50 meters away to capture clear details, and zooms out for groups to ensure everyone stays in view. A dual motion detection system, combining radar and passive infrared (PIR) technology, accurately identifies human and vehicle movement while minimizing false alerts. If an intruder approaches, red and blue warning lights activate alongside a 105dB siren, providing a powerful visual and auditory deterrent. The cameras also offer 360∘ pan and tilt flexibility to eliminate blind spots and 8x digital zoom (5x digital +3x optical) with full clarity up to 20 meters away.

System design and integration is key to the outcome

The ProSecure System utilises the Local AI Agent to detect, analyse, and respond to suspicious activity. This includes features like Vehicle Behaviour analysis, which tracks what is happening near the user’s car, flagging behaviors such as an intruder shining a flashlight inside a car or pulling on a door handle. Once suspicious actions are detected, an automatic alert can be sent to the police. The advanced AI also provides proactive protection from thieves targeting deliveries. The ProSecure system can quickly scan clothes, behavior, and posture to separate a friendly courier from a thief. If a suspected thief picks up a delivery, an instant alert is sent to police to stop the theft quickly. The advanced AI integration is supported by the Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ8 Series chipset, designed for peak on-device AI performance.

The eufy PoE Systems also provide 24/7 surveillance with cross-camera tracking and proactive defense and the Network Video Recorder (NVR) includes 2 TB of onboard memory, which is expandable up to 16 TB, and offers 24/7 NVR recording for up to 16 channels at a time. Key advantages include AI-ISP Color Night Vision and no monthly subscription fees to store or access video.

Locally hosted PoE cameras avoid the need for subscription

The eufy NVR Security System S4 Max, S4 (2 x PTZ Cameras and 2 x Turret Cameras), and E41 are available immediately for purchase through eufy.com/au, JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys and Harvey Norman. Prices range from $1,299.95 to $1,999.95 AUD. The eufy NVR Security System E40 and S4 System (2 x PTZ Cameras and 2 x Bullet Cameras) can also be purchased immediately on eufy.com/au, and will be available to purchase at Bunnings Warehouse in early 2026.
