Everyone’s favourite ‘frozen in time’ Pizza delivery boy and friends are back. Hulu has dropped a trailer for the new series of the animated series Futurama which originally started back in 1999.
We loved the original series here at Image Matrix Tech so much, we named our ginger cat Fry after Philip J. Fry. I also spent countless hours on the Futurama PS2 game. Never did finish it!
So after ten years the show is back.
Concerns that John DiMaggio would not return as the foul-mouthed, beer drinking, robot-womaniser ‘Bender’ have been allayed, so thankfully the full cast back.
Hulu says, “The ten all-new episodes of season eleven have something for everyone.
“New viewers will be able to pick up the series from here, while long-time fans will recognize payoffs to decades long mysteries – including developments in the epic love story of Fry and Leela, the mysterious contents of Nibbler’s litter box, the secret history of evil Robot Santa, and the whereabouts of Kif and Amy’s tadpoles.
“Meanwhile there’s a whole new pandemic in town as the crew explores the future of vaccines, bitcoin, cancel culture, and streaming TV.”
A twenty episode order will debut on Hulu on 24th July 2023, while the series is streamed internationally on Disney+.
