Hisense is a big backer of sport around the world so it was no surprise that Hisense Australia chose Rugby League’s showcase event, State of Origin, as its launch venue. From the end of June, the widest range of TVs made by Hisense will be available through Australian retailers. Ranging from 55 inches to 98 inches so you’ll easily find a ULED, Mini-LED or OLED TV to suit your needs. There’s also Laser TV with a maximum 120-inch screen.

“In 2022, the viewing habits of Australians have evolved once again,” said Nick Peters, Head of Marketing, Hisense Australia.

“We have seen greater demand for bigger screens, immersive, all encompassing viewing and audio experiences, and increasingly diverse content offerings available at the touch of a button.

“Our all-new range of TVs exceeds these expectations. We’re delivering bigger screens, equipped with the latest technology, without compromising on quality or price.

“From our enhanced Mini-LED offering to our redefined OLED experience, and the wow factor of our TriChroma Laser TV – the range emphasises our reputation as a manufacturer who delivers consumers the latest and greatest technology across a range of products to suit every home.”

The entry-level ULED starts at $1,499 AUD for 55-inches. You can see the initial 2022 range, price and availability in the image below.

All models are 4K across the ULED and Mini-LED range. Hisense has all the key technologies when it comes to delivering outstanding picture quality. Quantum Dot Colour, Full Array Local Dimming Pro and Smooth Motion technologies mean the highest quality viewing, no matter the content or environment.

HDMI 2.1 features and inputs are standard across the ULED range so gamers can enjoy 120Hz refresh rates. Gamers will also benefit from Dolby Vision Atmos and Game Mode (with VRR and ALLM), the range includes Quick Frame Transport (QFT), which automatically puts each frame at a higher rate to decrease lag and enhance the overall playing experience.

Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos sound ensures true-to-life, rich imagery and crystal-clear audio so movies and sport look and sound their best.

OLED COMEBACK

Hisense has responded to strong OLED demand by offering two models – the X8HAU and X9HAU – available in 55 and 65-inches. The X9HAU boasts an enveloping, 360-degree audio experience thanks to the combination of its sonic screen, dedicated subwoofer and two up-firing speakers.

“As part of our commitment to deliver Australian customers more choice when it comes to home entertainment, we’re excited to be bringing back the OLED offering, underpinned by our competitive pricing and commitment to innovation,” added said Nick Peters, Head of Marketing, Hisense Australia.

LASER TV

The easiest way to go big is with a projector. The 120-inch TriChroma Laser TV (120L9G) features Hisense’s proprietary TriChroma X-Fusion Laser Light technology. The 120L9G makes it easy to transform your home into an immersive cinema experience, projecting razor sharp imagery on the brand’s paired 120-inch ambient light rejection screen (ALR). This is offered complimentary with purchase.

Life-like picture quality is supported by microsecond-level processor response times, and the addition of Motion Estimation/Motion Compensation (MEMC) technology allows for fast-moving imagery to be projected with ease, ideal for watching fast moving sports games or action-packed cinematic exposes in real time. VIDAA U6

Hisense’s proprietary operating system (OS), VIDAA U6 will be available across most of Hisense’s 2022 Australian TV range. Showcasing a rich offering of content streaming apps for every audience – from sport and reality TV to family friendly movies and iconic bingeworthy series – VIDAA U6 cleverly curates your personalised homepage of content from a blend of applications, making TV time accessible and seamless.

Alongside the brand-new addition of Apple TV+ and Disney+ to the platform, Australians can choose from a wide range of content across Amazon Prime Video, Kayo Sports, Twitch, Paramount Plus, Britbox and Google Play Movies.

Set up and navigation is made easy through the enhanced VIDAA Smartphone companion app which gives users the ability to control their TV from their smartphone instead of a traditional remote. In busy households where remotes may occasionally be misplaced, this comes in handy, ensuring no one misses out on watching their favourite programs or movies.
