HOW MUCH DOES A GOOD TV COST?
You can get last year’s S95B – Samsung’s top 65 inch OLED for just under $3K. Sometimes it gets down to $2.5K and that’s the sweet spot – the best bang for buck. A great example is last year’s LG 65 inch CS model which I’m testing right now. It’s going for $2495.
For that price you can get a TV that’s outstanding and not far from the top range in picture quality. If you buy a $1000 TV it’s inferior. It will do the job but it’s just not a cinematic TV. But the difference between a good $2500 OLED TV like the LG CS 65 inch and the top models .. isn’t that much. Sure the top model is better – if you look hard enough – but at $2.5K you are getting a quality TV. So keep that price in mind when shopping around. Now is a great time to buy a 2022 OLED.
