Apple’s September event has been confirmed for 3am on the 10th of next month (Sydney time) with the iPhone 17 expected to be front and centre.

The headline says “Awe Dropping” and that could point to significant design changes across the range. The iPhone 17 Air is expected to show off Apple’s design expertise as the thinnest phone the company has ever made. The iPhone Plus model is likely to make way for the Air option. That would be a shame as I quite like the iPhone 16 Plus.

As usual there’s wild speculation ahead of the official launch. Improved MagSafe charging up to 50W is good one if it happens and an upgraded selfie camera would be extremely welcome.

One thing for certain, they will all be running iOS26, the latest operating system, currently in public beta.
