Black Friday specials extend well before and after the day itself and already there are massive deals on the biggest ticket item of them all … TVs. You should never buy a TV – unless you desperately need it – for the RRP or initial ticket price. Sometimes you’ll see price drop soon after launch but mostly it’s during Black Friday when you get the best value.
So here are my top buys for this week as covered on Sky News Weekend Edition on Sunday. In fact, several discounts have improved since then.
LG G4 OLED
The best TV of 2024 is also on special during Black Friday sales. Check out JB Hi-Fi’s deals below. This is a stunning OLED TV with incredible brightness and reflection handling capabilities.
If you have the the budget, you can go big with the 83-inch model. It’s $2,507 off the ticket price.
LG C4 OLED
The LG C4 OLED is the next down from the G4 but it’s still amazing. The 77-inch model is the sweet spot when it comes to deals. I see that it’s going for $3,981 – a discount of $2,014 – with free delivery. You can save more on the 83-inch display but you’re still paying $5,488.
SAMSUNG S90D OLED
The second best TV of the year, the S95D QD-OLED, is not discounted, unfortunately. Very unfortunately. I say that because it’s a terrific TV.
But its little brother, the S90D is on sale during Black Friday. The 83-inch S90D is going for $5,678, a discount of $2,317. The 77-inch is again the sweet spot.
There are also robot vacuums on heavy discount, plus flagship smartphones. These are the other categories, with TVs, that I recommend checking out during Black Friday sales.
