OPPO’s Find X8 Pro is now available internationally and that includes Australia. It’s the first global release of the Find X Series in two years.
“We’ve heard the demand from our Australian users in the last two years to bring our flagship Find X Series to local shores, and we’ve listened,” said Michael Tran, Managing Director, OPPO Australia
The Find X8 Pro is selling for A$1,799 through OPPO’s online store and retails exclusively via JB Hi-Fi.
Image Matrix Tech attended the global launch in Bali with OPPO Australia to get hands on with the new flagship. It’s one of the last phones released this year and could be ‘the’ phone of the year for many.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
The first thing you notice about the OPPO Find X8 Pro is just how good it feels in the hand. Light and well balanced despite its huge camera array and massive battery.
While I need to thoroughly test the cameras, this looks like a fantastic device for creators. During the global launch in Bali, OPPO pushed the idea that the Find X8 Pro is a concert phone. They even compared it with an S24 Ultra and the results look pretty good.
If the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip isn’t too hungry then the Find X8 Pro should be an absolute champion when it comes to battery life.
It comes with Android 15 / ColorOS 15 and there’s some really cool features, including Touch to Share, which works on Android and iOS.
