LG is offering a glimpse into a future with far less housework at CES 2026, unveiling LG CLOiD, an AI-powered home robot designed to bring its “Zero Labour Home” vision closer to everyday reality. The robot is built to handle common household tasks by combining robotics, artificial intelligence, and deep integration with LG’s smart home ecosystem.

During live demonstrations at CES, LG CLOiD is moving through a simulated home environment to prepare breakfast, start laundry cycles and even fold clothes once they’re dry. Rather than relying on simple commands, the robot is designed to understand household routines and coordinate connected appliances automatically through LG ThinQ, adapting its actions to how people actually live.

Capable of simple tasks, the LG CLOiD could save users huge amounts of time on household tasks

Physically, LG CLOiD features a wheeled base for stability, a height-adjustable body and two articulated arms with human-like movement and dexterous hands. Its head acts as a mobile AI hub, equipped with cameras, sensors, a display and voice-based generative AI, allowing it to communicate naturally, learn its surroundings and control smart appliances.

At its core is LG’s Physical AI technology, which translates what the robot sees and hears into real-world actions, enabling it to recognise objects, interpret intent and perform practical tasks around the home. LG says this is a key step towards AI-driven homes, where robots and smart appliances quietly handle the chores, giving people back time for the things that matter most.
