Sony’s Alpha 1 Specs are from the Future

0

The power of the Sony Alpha 1 is absolutely insane but a couple of figures stood out in the spec sheet.

Blackout- free continuous shooting at up to 30 frames per second

120 AF/AE calculations per second, double the speed of the Alpha 9 II, even during 30fps continuous shooting

World’s first anti-flicker shooting with both mechanical and electronic shutter

World’s fastest mechanical shutter flash sync up to 1/400 sec.

8K 30p 10-bit 4:2:0 XAVC HS video recording

These specs show just how powerful the a1 is and why you’re unlikely to run into buffering issues despite the high pixel count.

It’s not a Canon killer – no way. The R5 is a mighty camera too and it’s $5 000 cheaper.

Can’t wait to try the a1 – it’s an insane piece of kit.

Check out the main specs below plus pricing and availability.
