Samsung’s new flagship OLED, the S95F, will have a better anti-glare screen when it hits stores later this year. The upgrade was revealed at CES in Las Vegas along with a number of other interesting announcements.

The current top TV, the S95D, is my No.2 television of 2024, just pipped by the LG G4. As you can see in our review, the S95D, is an outstanding reflection killer but it does suffer from raised blacks in bright conditions. However, that issue has been reduced thanks to the new matte display which is also used on the new 83-inch OLED. Anti-Glare is also expanding to non-OLED models.

But .. the biggest OLED is not a QD-OLED. The 83-inch version is apparently using a WOLED panel, mostly likely due to the difficulties in producing a larger QD-OLED display. So QD-OLED fans will have to wait a bit longer for a panel larger than 77-inches.

SAMSUNG’S BIGGEST TV IS THE 115-INCH 4K QN90F – DOES NOT HAVE ANTI-GLARE SCREEN

As always, there’s a wide range of new TVs coming this year and here are some key developments:

  • The expansion of Samsung’s Lifestyle screens  with The Frame Pro, Neo QLED, and QLED bringing premium art experiences to more homes
  • The launch of Samsung Vision AI, transforming screens into smart companions that enhance entertainment with features such as Click to Search, Live Translate, Generative Wallpaper, and more
  • The latest flagship QN990F Neo QLED 8K TV, Samsung’s most advanced TV to date. The new TV will feature capabilities including 8K AI Upscaling Pro, Auto HDR Remastering Pro, Adaptive Sound Pro, and more.

8K

SAMSUNG IS A BIG SUPPORTER OF 8K

Although Samsung’s best TV is the QD-OLED line, Samsung continues to push its 8K mini-LED model as the top dog. They are great TVs with amazing upscaling technology to make use of all 32 Megapixels in each frame.

To do this, theQN990F Neo QLED 8K TV is powered by the latest NQ8 AI Gen3 Processor. Here are some of the AI features.

  • 8K AI Upscaling Pro: Elevates lower-resolution content up to 8K quality.
  • Auto HDR Remastering Pro: Analyses content frame by frame, applying scene-adaptive colour expansion for lifelike visuals and vibrant colours, even in dark scenes.

THE FRAME PRO

THE FRAME HAS EXPANDED TO OTHER MODELS

The Frame is one of my favourite TVs, ever made. It really looks like a painting until it changes to a new piece of art. The matte finish is even better with the The Frame Pro. It’s powered by the NQ4 Gen3 AI Processor and it’s beautiful.

The best thing about The Frame Pro is its Wireless One Connect box that allows for for more flexible installations that blend in seamlessly with their environment.

The Samsung Art Store now features over 3,000 curated works from prestigious global partners, including MoMA and the estates of Magritte and Basquiat. For 2025, this expanded collection is available not only on The Frame and MICRO LED series but also on Neo QLED and QLED models.
