Sony’s long awaited 2025 TV and home theatre lineup has been announced including the BRAVIA 8 II which is actually an update to the incredble A95L QD-OLED. Last year’s WOLED BRAVIA 8 remains in the line-up as does the BRAVIA 9 Mini LED TV which is still Sony’s top television. (Look out for a fresh review on that this week).

Sony says the BRAVIA 8 II can beat the A95L by 25% in peak brightness and outshine the BRAVIA 8 by 50%. The BRAVIA 8 II will use Samsung Display’s lastest QD-OLED panel. The BRAVIA 8 II will only ship in 55″ and 65″ sizes, for now.

The other new release is the BRAVIA 5, a Mini LED model which is available in sizes from 55″ to a massive 98″.

The BRAVIA 8 II and BRAVIA 5 will be available from May.

Image Matrix Tech will be digging deeper into the new Sony lineup over the next few weeks, so keep it locked in here.

Sony also announced its 2025 lineup of BRAVIA home theatre products.

  • BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6: 3.1.2ch soundbar offering immersive surround sound and clear dialogue.
