We’ve seen a lot from Apple over the last month while WWDC 2025 has been running and frankly, the updates to iPad OS stole the show. Part of the updates at WWDC included iOS 26, bringing a lot of new features to the iPhone including Live Translate, Spam SMS Filtering, Call Screening, Hold Assist and even Photos gaining some much needed navigation (to name a few); but the question posed by Google’s latest ad is whether or not they’re actually new features.

The cheeky digs continue throughout the advert, talking about features where the Pixel has had the noted new features for between four and seven years already. When the focus switches to the Pixel 10 (which we’re expecting in the later half of August), the Pixel device errs briefly and the ad finishes.

As has been the case for years now, there is no shortage of information on the upcoming Pixel 10 devices already out there. Whether or not it can be believed, we’ll officially know more in a bit over eight weeks time.
