LG Electronics has unveiled its 2026 TV lineup in Australia, introducing a wide range of new models aimed at simplifying home entertainment while boosting picture quality, gaming performance and smart features.
The new range includes an impressive array of 39 models across OLED, QNED and LCD categories, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence, personalised viewing and cable-free setups.
A THINNER, WIRELESS FLAGSHIP
Leading the lineup is the OLED evo W6, a “Wallpaper TV” measuring just 9.9mm thick. Designed to sit flush against the wall, the TV uses a separate Zero Connect Box to wirelessly transmit 4K video and audio—eliminating the need for visible cables and giving users more flexibility in how they set up their living space.

SMARTER PICTURE AND SOUND WITH AI
At the core of LG’s premium TVs is a new Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3, which uses a dual AI engine to enhance sharpness, detail and sound in real time. The system is part of LG’s broader “Affectionate Intelligence” approach, designed to learn user preferences and adapt over time.
The updated webOS 26 platform also plays a major role, offering personalised profiles, voice recognition and an AI-powered hub that can handle more complex search requests. It integrates with smart home ecosystems and supports popular streaming services alongside free-to-air and catch-up TV apps.
Brighter OLED and new display tech
LG continues to double down on OLED, with improvements in brightness and colour accuracy. Premium models now feature enhanced brightness boosting and anti-reflection technology, making them better suited to bright living rooms.
Alongside OLED, LG has introduced a new Micro RGB (MRGB) evo display technology. This system uses advanced LED backlighting to deliver highly accurate colours, targeting users who want near professional-grade visuals.
Big screens and gaming upgrades
For those after larger screens, LG’s QNED evo range expands up to 115 inches, with improved MiniLED technology now available across more models—including entry-level options.

Gamers are also a key focus. Select TVs support up to 4K at 165Hz, along with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync, aiming to deliver smoother, more responsive gameplay.
Flexible home cinema sound
LG is also pushing a more flexible home audio setup with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, allowing users to place wireless speakers around the room while the TV automatically optimises sound based on layout.

Pricing and availability
The 2026 lineup is available in Australia from 18 March, with prices ranging from $399 for entry-level HD models up to nearly $30,000 for premium large-screen OLEDs. The flagship W6 models will arrive later in July, while most other models roll out between March and May.
The bottom line for consumers
LG’s 2026 TVs are designed for households juggling streaming, gaming and live TV. The key upgrades—wireless connectivity, smarter AI features and improved brightness—aim to make the TV a central, all-in-one entertainment hub.
For buyers, the decision will come down to budget and use case: OLED for premium picture quality, QNED for large bright-room viewing, or the new MRGB tech for colour precision.
