Motorola has launched a refreshed range of smartphones and accessories in Australia, headlined by a new premium-tier device designed to push camera performance and AI features further into flagship territory.

PHONES: BUDGET TO LUXURY

Leading the lineup is the new motorola signature, Motorola’s most premium device yet. It’s built around advanced Sony LYTIA sensors with Dolby Vision video capture, and powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 — bringing a strong mix of high-end performance, AI enhancements and a more refined, luxury design.

The motorola edge 70 and edge 70 fusion sit just below it, offering flagship-style features at more accessible price points. The edge 70 stands out for its ultra-thin 5.99mm design, while still packing a triple 50MP camera system and a 4800mAh battery.

Meanwhile, the edge 70 fusion leans into endurance, with a massive 7000mAh battery and a capable camera setup, including a 32MP front-facing lens for content creators.

Motorola is also making a play for style-conscious buyers, with Pantone-inspired finishes and Swarovski crystal editions adding a fashion-forward edge to the range.

EARBUDS: COVERING DAILY USE NEEDS

Motorola’s audio lineup has also been refreshed, with the moto buds 2, moto buds 2 plus and moto buds loop rounding out the ecosystem.

The range covers everything from affordable everyday listening through to more premium options, with the buds loop standing out thanks to its design-focused approach — including Swarovski crystal finishes for those wanting something a little different.

MOTO WATCH: A SMARTWATCH WITH DAYS OF BATTERY LIFE

The new Moto Watch marks Motorola’s entry into the smartwatch space, offering a clean, lightweight design paired with strong battery performance.

With up to 13 days of battery life and fast charging that can deliver a full day’s use in just minutes, it’s aimed at users who want smartwatch features without the constant need to recharge.

PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

The new range is available for pre-order now through retailers including JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman and Officeworks, with general availability kicking off from 16 April 2026.

Pricing starts at $499 for the moto g67, while the motorola signature comes in at $1,499 for the 256GB model. The edge 70 range starts at $899, keeping it competitive in the mid-to-premium segment.

Motorola’s latest push is clearly about breadth — covering everything from budget to premium, while building out a more complete ecosystem of devices for Australian consumers.
