The Sony a9 is primarily a stills camera but I’ve been using it mostly for broadcast video and I love it.
Generally I shoot 4K but the 100p 1080 is magic for slow motion.
By reducing playback to 25% in a 25p PAL timeline you get amazing results.I shot this clip in strong winds in San Francisco with 16-35mm F2.8 G Master lens on Crane 2 gimbal.
This lens is heavy and the gimbal bobbled a bit in the conditions.
I had to do a light software stabilisation in Premiere Pro.
