D-Link has announced three new Gallium Nitride (GaN) chargers for the Australian and New Zealand markets, targeting users who need to power multiple high-performance devices from a single compact charger. The new range includes the 240W DCF-241, 140W DCF-141 and 100W DCP-101, all supporting USB-C Power Delivery 3.1 and Quick Charge 4.0 standards.
The Chargers
The headline model is the DCF-241, which delivers up to 240W of combined output across five ports, comprising four USB-C ports and one USB-A port. A single USB-C connection can provide up to 140W, making it suitable for power-hungry devices such as 16-inch laptops and mobile workstations. The remaining ports can simultaneously charge additional devices, including tablets, smartphones, wearables and peripherals, with the charger dynamically allocating power across connected hardware.
For users who regularly work across multiple laptops, the DCF-141 offers an interesting middle ground. Its four-port design includes three USB-C ports and one USB-A port, with a total power budget of 140W. Notably, two USB-C ports can each deliver 70W simultaneously, allowing two notebooks to be charged at the same time without relying on separate power adapters.

The smallest model, the DCP-101, still provides up to 100W of total output from three USB-C ports and one USB-A port. A single USB-C connection can deliver the full 100W, making it suitable for ultrabooks, tablets, handheld gaming devices and modern smartphones. When multiple devices are connected, power is redistributed automatically according to charging requirements.
The Technology
All three chargers utilise GaN semiconductor technology instead of traditional silicon-based components. GaN transistors can operate at higher frequencies and with greater efficiency, allowing manufacturers to reduce both physical size and heat generation while maintaining high power output. This has become increasingly important as modern laptops and mobile devices move towards USB-C charging and demand higher wattage for fast charging.
Support for USB Power Delivery 3.1 is significant because it enables Extended Power Range (EPR) charging up to 140W on compatible devices. This allows a single charger to support everything from smartphones through to workstation-class laptops. With Quick Charge 4.0 compatibility, the new D-Link chargers are designed to work across a broad ecosystem of Windows laptops, Apple devices, Android smartphones, tablets, gaming handhelds, and accessories.

The chargers also incorporate over-current, over-voltage, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection systems. All models support universal 110V-240V AC input, making them suitable for international travel when paired with the appropriate plug adapter.
Pricing and Availability
In Australia, the DCF-241 is priced at A$249.95, the DCF-141 at A$129.95 and the DCP-101 at A$99.95. The flagship DCF-241 is currently being offered at an EOFY promotional price of A$229.95 until 30 June.
