D-Link Australia/New Zealand has launched a new lineup of 2.5G Multi-Gigabit unmanaged switches, the DMS-1016 and DMS-1024, aimed at meeting the soaring bandwidth demands of modern home and small business networks. These switches deliver ultra-fast connectivity crucial for seamless digital workflows, including high-definition video conferencing, cloud computing, and real-time collaboration.

SPEED MEETS SIMPLICITY

The new switches offer 2.5-gigabit speeds across either 16 or 24 ports, optimising productivity in environments dense with connected devices. The DMS-1016 provides 16 ports, while the DMS-1024 boasts 24 high-speed ports.

“As digital workflows become more bandwidth-intensive, multi-gigabit performance is no longer optional—it’s essential,” commented Graeme Reardon, Managing Director of D-Link A/NZ. He added that the new 2.5G switches provide “next-generation performance with plug-and-play simplicity, futureproofing networks for years to come.”

The new switches are designed for straightforward use, featuring plug-and-play installation to eliminate network bottlenecks without complexity. They also incorporate intelligent power management, reducing energy consumption during idle periods and supporting sustainability goals while lowering operating costs.

Reflecting D-Link’s commitment to quality, both models are engineered and manufactured in Taiwan, adhering to the company’s “Made in Taiwan (MIT)” brand promise of creative innovation, one-stop service, and sustainable design. This launch reinforces D-Link’s philosophy of “One Connection – Infinite Possibilities,” providing secure, smart, and efficient networking solutions.

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY

The DMS-1016 is available for an RRP of AU$649.00, and the larger DMS-1024 has an RRP of AU$849.95, with both available now from the D-Link Australian website and through all authorised D-Link partners and resellers across the country.
