DaVinci Resolve 20 Moves Out of Beta – Free and Studio Versions

The epic update that is DaVinci Resolve 20 is finally out of public beta and available in free and paid studio versions. This is the NLE used by Image Matrix Tech so we’ve been keenly testing the beta versions as they appeared.

DaVinci Resolve 20 includes more than 100 new features including powerful AI tools and time saving features. Use AI IntelliScript to create timelines based on a text script, AI Animated Subtitles to animate words as they are spoken, and AI Multicam SmartSwitch to create a timeline with camera angles based on speaker detection.

The cut and edit pages also include a dedicated keyframe editor and voiceover palettes, and AI Fairlight IntelliCut can remove silence and checkerboard dialogue between speakers. In Fusion, explore advanced multi layer compositing workflows. The Colour Warper now includes Chroma Warp, and the Magic Mask and Depth Map have huge updates.
