GoPro is facing some serious financial hurdles but there’s an upside for consumers.
GoPro has cut the price of several cameras – HERO6 Black is now $599.95 (the original Australian price was $749.95) HERO5 Black $429.95 and HERO5 Session $299.95
GoPro’s 360 video camera is now available for purchase in limited numbers in Australia, New Zealand, North America, UK and EU.
Fusion retails for $999.95 and shoots 5.2K spherical video.
Today GoPro release a companion app on iOS (Android not ready) for the 360 video Fusion captures.
Mobile OverCapture allows users to control the Fusion camera, live preview shots, and stitch, trim and share content from their iOS device.
The really impressive part is using OverCapture to move around the 360 space to produce an action video that gives the appearance of multiple cameras with sweeping movement.
