Get ready to pre-order, Australian PlayStation fans! To celebrate three decades since the original PlayStation console launched down under, PlayStation Australia is bringing back its highly sought-after 30th Anniversary Collection in a limited restock this November. This collection is a direct nod to the console that started it all, featuring the classic original PlayStation colour design integrated into the latest line of PS5 hardware products. It’s a striking tribute to 30 years of gaming made possible by the passion of local fans and developers.

WHAT’S COMING BACK?

If you missed out the first time, this is your chance to snag a piece of PlayStation history. This limited edition restock includes three key products. First up is the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle. This premium package includes the limited edition PS5 Digital Edition console with a 1TB SSD, the matching DualSense wireless controller, a Console Cover for a Disc Drive (note: the Disc Drive itself is sold separately), and a Vertical Stand. You can also look forward to the PlayStation Portal Remote Player – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition, which gives the new device a striking retro makeover. Finally, the collection includes the DualSense Wireless Controller – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition available for purchase on its own, showcasing the iconic grey and coloured logo design.

KEY DATES

This is a limited supply restock, so set your alarms and be prepared to act fast! Pre-orders will officially begin on Wednesday, 15th October 2025 at 10 am AEST. These will be available at select retailers, and supply is n ot expected to last long. The products will then be released for general sale on Friday, 14th November 2025. PlayStation Australia advises checking with your local retailer for specific pre-order details and availability before the date.
