If you’re looking to upgrade your ancient Wi-Fi setup but you’re on a tight budget then this story is for you. I stumbled across a massive price drop for the Google Nest Pro Mesh Wi-Fi 6E system when scanning for TV deals. And I mean massive!
If you visit Google’s online store you will see the 3-pack system selling for A$699. If you visit Officeworks or Bing Lee, you will see it selling for just A$319. That’s a whopping $380 off.
You’ll also find it discounted at JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman.
Until the weekend, I had been holding onto the previous Google mesh system for my internal Wi-Fi needs. Way too long. Although the Google Nest Pro Mesh Wi-Fi 6E system isn’t the latest tech, it’s more than good enough, especially at less than half price.
Wi-Fi 7 is starting gain ground in the wireless market but honestly 6E mesh systems are excellent. Especially this one from Google. It supports 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands. It also has ethernet ports on each device and excellent control software through Google Home.
My home Internet has a connection speed of 1000Mbps down and 50Mbps up. Now with the Nest 6E mesh system I’m able to reach or get closer to those speeds.
