If you’re looking for a longer lens to add to your growing RF collection but don’t want to break the bank, then you might be interested in the Canon RF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 Telephoto Zoom.

For a RRP of A$399,  the RF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 is ideal for sport and wildlife – in good lighting conditions. It has a large zoom ring that only needs a quarter turn to run through the entire zoom range.  When zoomed in to 300mm you’ll be able to nail focus at a minimum distance of 1.5m. The seven-blade aperture should deliver nice separation between subject and background.

KEY FEATURES

  • Super Spectra coating to reduce ghosting and flare
  • Flexible 75-300mm focal length range for full-frame EOS R System cameras, extending to 120-480mm equivalent view on APS-C models
  • 1.5 metre minimum focusing distance at 300mm for frame-filling detail
  • Compact and lightweight design: Measures just 146.1mm in length when stored and weighs approximately 507g
  • 7-blade circular aperture for beautiful background blur

This entry-level full frame lens is made for Canon’s RF mount but when paired with an APS-C body, like the  EOS R100, the extra crop equates to a 120-480mm zoom. Something to consider. It weights in at just 507g and when retracted, it’s 146.1mm in length.
