Samsung’s Galaxy Ring is getting bigger, something predicted right here back in October of 2024.

The Ring will now come in two new larger sizes of 14 and 15, increasing the available range from 5 to 15. The new sizes will be rolled out from January 23, 2025.

The previous maximum size of 13 was not big enough for many consumers with larger hands. The only size I could use was 13, so the finger options were limited for me. And I don’t have really chunky fingers. Once you buy a Galaxy Ring, you’ll receive a sizing kit. It’s best to wear the dummy ring for at least 24 hours to make sure your size selection is correct.

The new sizes will be available in 16 additional markets starting in February, bringing the total to 52 .

The Ring sensors include an Accelerometer, PPG (heart rate) and Skin Temperature. It will last up to seven days before the battery needs recharging.

Samsung is also updating the Samsung Health app. The changes include Sleep time guidance and Mindfulness tracker.

Mindfulness tracker: Helps improve your mental health and achieve a better night’s sleep. You can monitor your moods and follow Samsung Health’s guides for breathing exercises and meditations, all easily accessible within a single tracker.

The Galaxy Ring is available from Samsung online for A$699.
