WatchGuard Technologies is introducing its new Firebox Tabletop Series—a line of powerful, compact firewalls designed to give small and medium-sized businesses robust security that’s easy to manage. These new appliances are built to handle today’s demanding network needs and help companies to prepare for the future.
This new generation of firewalls provides a significant performance boost, with improvements to VPN and security features that help tackle common problems like slow network speeds, especially for employees working from home or in hybrid environments.
The new series offers several key upgrades. For blazing-fast performance, the firewalls come with high-speed network ports and faster data throughput. The top-of-the-line T185 model boasts significantly quicker VPN performance, while other models like the T145 include a high-speed 10G network port. For cutting-edge Wi-Fi, the entry-level T115-W is a standout, featuring the latest Wi-Fi 7 technology and 4GB of RAM—a rare combination for its price point. Other models, including the T125 and T145, also offer Wi-Fi 7 options.

For smarter threat protection, these firewalls use AI-powered threat detection to find and respond to threats more quickly. This helps businesses boost their cybersecurity without adding extra complexity. WatchGuard also offers simple and clear pricing with straightforward, all-inclusive licensing and no hidden fees. All models come with essential security features built in, making it easier for businesses to understand their costs. Finally, the new firewalls feature an eco-friendly design, housed in a sturdy metal case and using ultra-low-power components, making them more energy-efficient and quieter. The packaging has also been reduced, aligning with the company’s goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2040.
The new Firebox T Series is designed to offer strong security and high performance in a user-friendly package, helping businesses stay protected as their needs evolve.
The T185 model is available now, with other models rolling out later this year.
